Objective To observe the effect of Yishen Xiezhuo Recipe on the microinflammatory state in maintenance hemodialytic patients. Methods 60 cases of maintenance hemodialytic patients were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was given conventional hemodialysis, while the observation group was given Yishen Xiezhuo Recipe plus conventional hemodialysis. The levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), interleukin-6(IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), hemoglobin(Hb), total cholesterol(TC), and albumin(Alb) were detected before and after 3 months of treatment. Results In observation group, the levels of IL-6 and hs-CRP were significantly decreased after treatment(P〈0.05). The level of TNF-α was also decreased, but it was not significantly. In control group, the levels of hs-CRP, TNF-α and IL-6 were higher after treatment, but without statistical significance. The levels of hs-CRP, TNF-α and IL-6 after treatment in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P〈0.05). In observation group, the levels of Hb, TC and Alb were significantly increased after treatment(P〈0.05). In control group, the levels of Hb, TC and Alb were increased without statistical significance. The levels of Hb, TC and Alb after treatment in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P〈0.05). Conclusion Yishen Xiezhuo Recipe can inhibit the inflammatory state of maintenance hemodialytic patients and improve their nutritional state.
