An Interpretation of De-politics and De-aesthetics of Two English Versions of Divorce

译本的内在构成具有多重意义,既具有文化交流意义,也具有在译入语社会中的时代意义,还具有译者追求的译入语读者共同体的审美意义等。多者兼顾解读《离婚》的两个译本,不但会读出与已有的不一样的结论,而且还会丰富对译本的认识。

Divorce and The Quest for Love of Lao Lee are the two English versions of Li Hun,a novel written by modern Chinese writer Lao She,the former by Even King and the latter by Lao She and Guo Jingqiu. In this paper a new perspective,which highly regards the significance of translations in cultural / literary communications,their functions in target language society and the common aesthetic requests through which translators are to convey,is adopted to analyze Divorce and The Quest for Love of Lao Lee,generating a profound understanding of and a different conclusion for the two English versions.
