Design of coupling system between LED and optical fiber based on ZEMAX

摘要 在原有金属卤化物光源与光纤耦合结构的基础上,提出了一种新的光纤耦合方案,为了满足光供电系统的光功率需求,根据几何光学的理论,提出一种新的LED光源阵列排布方案。在对LED的发光特性研究的基础上,设计了一种新的光学准直方法,运用ZEMAX软件进行仿真,并对透镜参数进行了优化,准直结果角度控制在了±4°范围内。针对光束尺寸与光纤的匹配问题,进行了聚焦耦合设计,弥散斑的RMS尺寸大小为7.410μm,GEO点尺寸为16.091μm,光学系统95%以上的能量集中在20μm范围之内,达到了很好的耦合效果。 On the basis of the coupling structure between original metal halide light source and optical fiber, a new optical fiber coupling scheme is proposed. In order to meet the demand of light power in power supply system, according to the theory of geometric optics, a new LED light source array configuration scheme is put forward. On the basis of the research on the 1 characteristics of LED, a new optical collimation method is designed. Using ZEMAX, the parameters of the lens are optimized. The collimation result is controlled within the plus or minus 4° angle. To solve the matching problem between the beam size and the fiber, the focusing system is designed. The RMS size is 8. 354 microns, GEO size is 16. 091 microns, more than 95% of the energy of the optical system is concentrated in the range of 20 microns. A very good coupling effect is achieved.
