This paper studies 10 American health and medical science libraries which provide data services based on the information from their official websites. It analyses and summaries the contents of the libraries＇ data services throughout the whole research project workflow, aiming to provide reference to develop data services in Chinese health and medical science libraries. American health and medical science libraries provide various data services throughout each stage of research project workflow. Chinese subject librarians should establish close contact with researchers and embed their data services in health and medical science research project workflow.
