This paper introduces the functional characteristics of some kinds of new textile materials under the new policies,the application characteristics of knitting technology and the development trend of market,including the appearance,structural,property,basic meaming and development example of regenerated cellulose fiber,Yilun polyimide fiber and Cotonnier en arbre fiber are presented.In addition,it introduces the new developing concept of functional knitted fabric,proposes the new developing imagination of the two or more multi-functional knitted prod-uct standards,and introduces in detail the present siuation of the new natural plant Cotonnier en arbre fiber in-cluding cognition,financial and technical problems.At the same time,it reminds us attentionts to the future of the Cotonier en arbre.
