However, the place is actually rather same as those full of infighting. Through describing tragedies of the educated youth, women and children, the author is questioning the reasons for the birth of such tragedies. He also？ sets Wang Mutong as the carrier to rethink of and animadvert on the phenomena why the hidden evil of human nature and backward factor of traditional culture overlap on Wang Mutong as well as his ignorant fanaticism to collude with abnormal power.
