基督教爱的思想在小说《爱》中的体现

小说《爱》是诺贝尔文学奖获得者、非裔美国作家托尼·莫里森创作的作品。在这部作品中,托尼·莫里森想要表达的是:非裔黑人应正视自己所受的历史创伤,更要寻求一种方法,摆脱自己在一个白人为主体的社会文化中的边缘化地位,重建美好的家园。这种方法就是要重视本种族之间的爱与协作,特别是与基督教教义《圣经》中的宗教之爱结合起来的爱。托尼·莫里森通过这种方式,把作品的主题与宗教思想融合在一起,在小说中体现了基督教的爱的思想。

Love is a novel written by African-American novelist Toni Morrison, a Nobel Prize for Literature winner. In this book, Toni Morrison attempts to express such an idea： the African-Americans need face up to the historical trauma they suffered, besides, they need explore a way to escape from the marginalized status and restore their homeland. To achieve this, they need value love and cooperation among their own community, especially the love which is combined with that in Bible. By this way, Toni Morrison combines her theme with her religious thought, and shows her understanding of love in Bible.
