2013年9月习近平主席在中亚发出共建"丝绸之路经济带"的倡议之后,得到欧亚大陆大部分国家的积极支持和参与,特别是中国与俄罗斯两国元首发表了《关于丝绸之路经济带建设和欧亚经济联盟建设对接合作的联合声明》,致力于在整个欧亚大陆建设共同经济空间。在此过程中上海合作组织是二者对接的重要平台,应务实推进六大经济走廊贯通整个欧亚共同经济空间。
In Sep. 2013, President Xi jinping proposed co -construction of Silk Road Economic Belt in Central Asia, which gained active support and participation of most countries in Eurasia. In particular, two heads of the state announced A Joint Statement on Integration between Silk Road Economic Belt and Eurasian Economic Union, which would work on co - building economic space in Eurasia. In the process, Shanghai Cooperation Organization（SCO） had been the important platform of integration to promote six economic corridors through Eurasian economic space.
