摘要
拟从"英语具有时间性特质"和"汉语具有空间性特质"这一立论出发,探讨英汉情感数量表征中量词的使用所体现出来的时空性特质倾向差异,认为,英汉民族的情感思维方式各有其时空特质的倾向性。英语民族偏重于时间,情感认知多采用时间性思维,具体表现为英语情感域量词的连续性、抽象性和动态性等特质;而汉民族则偏重于空间,情感认知多采用空间性思维,具体表现为汉语情感域量词的离散性、具象性和静态性等特质。
This paper attempts to study the temporality of English and spatiality of Chinese in classifier constructions of the emotion domain. It is observed that the English focuses dominantly upon space, which is primarily characterized by features of continuity, abstractness, and dynamics, while the Chinese upon space, which is mainly characterized by features of discreteness, concreteness, and statics.
