论如何提高高职院校公共英语教学

近年来,随着国家对人才培养的重视以及社会对专业技术的人才需求,使得高职院校的人才培养受到越来越多的重视。作为当前社会需要的掌握专业技术的人才,高职院校的学生不仅要对专业技术有很好的掌握,对社会的发展变化也要跟得上形势,特别是对外部世界的了解,需要掌握一门过硬的外语来实现。然而,在一些高职院校中,公共英语的教学还存在着一些问题,需要在社会发展的大环境下提高,为高职院校的学生顺利进入工作岗位奠定好基础。

Recently, graduates from vocational colleges earn more attention because the whole country and societyneeds a large number of vocational talents. The students from vocational colleges could meet the need but the stu-dents have to acquire both the professional skills up to date and a fluent foreign language to know the global situa-tion. However, in some vocational colleges, their English teaching needs to be improved to meet the heed of paving agood foundation for the students＂ future job.
