机械工程专业英语过程考核实施方案初探

Implementation Scheme for Process Assessment on Mechanical Engineering Technical English

过程考核是对学生学习过程进行多方面、多形式、分阶段的考核。针对目前机械工程专业英语考核方式存在的缺陷与不足,提出以教学目标为准绳,考查内容模块化的过程考核体系。该过程考核体系针对工程材料及力学、机械设计及公差、机床与机器人以及加工与制造四个能力模块及对应能力目标,设计了考核方式及评分标准,增加了小组考核环节。该过程考核方案对提高教学质量、创新教学方式具有较好的实践价值,有助于学生英语语言表达能力、团队协作能力、创新精神的培养。

Process assessment can be done in different forms. It is used in the process of teaching to assess student＇s study from different aspects. Based on the analysis of the disadvantages of traditional assessment on mechanical engineering technical English, modularized process assessment is proposed in the paper. This scheme is conducted after the learning modular of engineering material and mechanics, mechanic design and tolerance, lathes and robots, and processing and manufacturing. Evaluation mode and scoring criteria are designed according to the content of the modular. Practice shows that this scheme motivates student＇s learning enthusiasm and enhances student＇s ability of oral expression and team cooperation. It is helpful to improve the teaching quality and foster the innovative spirits.
