教育研究以追求真理为目的,因为研究的构成性条件是向真、服真和求真。不论是经验研究,还是规范性研究,一切类型的研究都是在普遍的理据之上建立自己真实的观点。研究拒绝真实性,就是否认研究本身。教育研究获得的观点或思想,必须是证成的真信念。研究意味着共同辩理,即以普遍的理据检验我们观点。作为认识教育实在的研究,本质上追求的是教育理论或知识的客观性和普遍性。这是教育研究的构成性规则和责任。
