应用语言学视角下外语教学本质的思考

On the Nature of Foreign Language Teaching from the Perspective of Applied Linguistics

本文从应用语言学出发来考察外语教学的本质。梳理应用语言学的发展脉络研究发现,主导其发展方向的主要有3个元理论分别是现代语言学理论、心理学理论和教学法理论,以此作为研究的切入点,逐步归纳出外语教学本质的3个维度,摸索区别于哲学研究范式的另一条描述外语教学本质的进路。

This paper investigates the nature of foreign language teaching from the perspective of Applied Linguistics.Based on the research of the developmental process of Applied Linguistics,the three guiding metatheories are found：modern linguistics,psychology and pedagogy.Furthermore,the nature of foreign language teaching are put forward with three dimensions,which are demonstrated distinctively from the philosophical means.
