随着我国经济的发展,人民生活水平日益提高,对宝石的需求日益旺盛。无机非金属材料工程专业的传统培养方案受到挑战,亟需提高该专业学生的就业面和就业竞争力。文章论述了无机非金属材料工程专业开设《宝石学与宝石鉴定》课程的必要性与可行性,通过分析无机非金属材料工程专业的培养方案和《宝石学与宝石鉴定》课程的教学内容,对课程的教学目的、教学内容和考核方式提出建议。

As China＇s economic development, people＇s living standards are improving, and the demand for gems strongly increases. Traditional professional training program for inorganic nonmetallic materials engineering specialty is faced with challenge, and the employment opportunities and competitiveness of the students need improving. The article discusses the necessity and feasibility of setting up ＂Gemology and Gem Identification＂ course for inorganic nonmetallic materials engineering specialty, and recommendations for the purpose of teaching, teaching content and assessment methods are made by the analysis of professional training program for inorganic nonmetallic materials engineering specialty and the teaching content of ＂Gemology and Gem Identification＂ course.
