The patriotic Chinese poetry played a significant role amomg poems composed by the four Great Poets at the end of the Li Dynasty. In these poems, they expressed their grief and indignation for the national misfortune, eulogized soldiers and civilians＇ resistance against aggression which demonstrated their national spirit, and remembered the ancient national hero which implicated their patriotic feelings. And they also concerned about sufferings of the public and timely showed the changes of the age and the theme of caring for the fate of his nation.
