After analyzing the era＇s characteristic of folk belief and the influence on the folk culture and aesthetic interest in paper cutting by the change of folk belief, the author puts forward that paper-cutting art in the new era should be looking for a suitable belief demand for modern people and retaining the emotion and qualities of traditional belief culture to further inherit and develop itself.
