论新经济地理学的发展与完善

The Development and Perfection of New Economic Geography

新经济地理学发源于20世纪90年代,经过多年的发展,新经济地理学已经发展到了一门学科的中期。作为发展中期阶段的新经济地理学,学界对其评价不一。为了洞悉新经济地理学的学科发展状况,需要从这门学科的研究范式入手,分析该学科的研究特点和发展脉络,分析新经济地理学比之传统意义上经济地理学的优势所在,研究新经济地理学的适应性。可以肯定的是,新经济地理学适合中国等新兴工业国,没有过时。但新经济地理学的研究也有很多不足,值得反思,其中最突出的是新经济地理学没有对以往地理学家的工作给予充分的重视和回顾。但是新经济地理学成功地将主流经济学家的注意力转到地理上来,这是它的贡献。所以,新经济地理学还是有很强的学术活力的,学界应当积极寻找新经济地理学的新领域。

The new economic geography stated from the 1990s, after years of development, it has developed to its middle term, and the academic circles have different evaluation to the theory. In order to understand the new development situation of economic geography, we need to start from the research paradigm, and pay attention to the research characteristics, the development context, and the advantage the new economic geography has compared to the traditional economic geography, and the adaptability of the new theory. To be sure, the new economic geography fit for the emerging industrial countries, and is not out of date. But is also has a lot of insufficiency which need to be reflection and criticism. One of the most insufficiencies is that it doesn＇t give enough attention and review to the previous geologists＇ work. But the new economic geography theory successfully transfers the mainstream economists＇ attention to the field of geography, this is its own contribution. That＇s why the new economic geography has strong academic vitality, and the academic circles should actively look for its new study field.
