From the current situation of implementing innovation driven development, northern area of Jiangsu province has the late-developing advantage advantages and comparative advantages, while it also faces accumulated contradictions and problems in the development of science and technology innovation and industrial structure. Therefore, the future innovation driven development in northern area of Jiangsu province should focus on strengthening development momentum, accelerating structural reform of the supply front and building a new innovation platform.
