白正国与浙江大学微分几何学派

Bai Zhengguo and Zhejiang University School of Differential Geometry

白正国先生是浙江大学微分几何学派的重要代表人物之一。科研上,他解决了国际射影微分几何学界非常关注的Fubini问题,对苏锥面进行了研究并拓广了其性质,给出了戈德织面序列的一个新定义,推广了著名的W.Fenchel定理,解决了独立保圆变换的黎曼空间的尺度形式问题等;学科建设上,他与陈建功、徐瑞云等人一起使得杭州大学数学系在短短的几年间成为国内具有重要影响的数学学科之一,对浙江大学数学系的建设起到重要作用;教学上,他先后培养了70多名硕士与博士,为光大浙江大学微分几何学派做出了重要贡献。

Mr Bai Zhengguo is one of the important representatives of Zhejiang university school of differential geometry. He solved the problem of the famous Fubini, given a generalization of Su＊ s associate quadrics of a surface and A new definition of the Godeaux sequence of quadrics. He promote the famous W.F enchel theorem and solved the problem of circle-preserving transformation of Riemann space, etc. Together with Chen jiangong, Xu Ruiyun makes hangzhou university math department in a few short years become one of the most important influence on mathematics in the domestic, play an important role on construction of department of mathematics of zhejiang university. He has trained more than 70 master and doctor, for everbright differential geometry school of zhejiang university has made an important contribution.
