History and Experience of the World's Industrial Modernization since 1700

工业现代化作为一种工业变迁、一个系统过程、一种工业转型、一种国际竞争,是国家现代化的战略基石和推动力。通过对工业生产、工业经济、工业环境和工业要素四个方面做时序分析、截面分析和过程分析,发现世界工业现代化的主要历史趋势,包括发展过程非线性、产业结构变迁具有规律性、产业革命是其核心内涵、工业创新是其原动力、提升质量是其本质特征、工业环境的变迁具有非线性六个方面。以此为基础,总结出工业现代化的十条基本经验。

Since the 18th century, industrial modernization has always been a core part of economic modernization, a strategic cornerstone of national modernization, and a driving force for economic modernization and national moderniza-tion. Analyzing the path of development of the world＇s industrial modernization and finding the intrinsic pattern is impor-tant to the prediction of the direction of the development of modern society. This paper will depict the basic facts of the world＇s industrial modernization, outline the history of it from the macroscopic view of world historical development through quantitative analysis, and then sum up the historical experience of the world ’ s industrial modernization.
