due to the limited resources and environmental pollution, the energy conservation and emission reduction has been raised to the height of the security of all countries in the world, and the automobile industry is the first to bear the brunt of the pollution. Based on the analysis of the concept and classification of new energy vehicles, this paper describes the development prospects of new energy vehicles under the new form. By pure electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles as the representative of the new energy vehicles will gradually replace the traditional petroleum fuel vehicles.
