论律师的社会认知度

Social Recognition of Lawyers

律师队伍的建设已经得到国家的高度重视,而提高律师的社会认知度无疑是建设律师队伍的前提基础。当前,我国律师的社会认知度不高,造成这种局面既有社会的因素,也有律师自身的原因。提高律师的社会认知度,应从四个方面着手:思想上明确律师职业的性质和使命,内容上加强法律职业道德教育,管理上强化监督与惩戒制度,制度上完善律师准入、定期考核制度。

In our country great importance has been attached to the construction of the profession of lawyers, for which improving the social recognition of lawyers is undoubtedly the prerequisite. Right now the poor social recognition of lawyers stems from social factors as well as from the lawyers themselves. Efforts can be made in order to improve the social recognition of lawyers from the following aspects ： ideologically, making clear the nature and mission of the profession of lawyers; strengthening education on ethics and morality of the legal profession; strengthening the institutions of supervision and punishment; perfecting the licensing and regular review institutions of the profession of lawyers.
