诗歌创作是苏轼居琼三年文学功业中最为突出的组成部分。诗歌内容丰富,是其贬居生命历程中思想感情最为美妙的艺术表现。和陶诗则反映出他到海南之后自我调整心态的过程。诗体偏重于古体诗;艺术风格大略可分为平淡高远型、峥嵘绚烂型,以及介于二者之间的潇散旷远型。苏轼在海南文学史上的地位,堪称海南文学之宗师;这种地位和深远的影响力,是与他在整个海南历史文化发展过程中的崇高地位和深远影响分不开的。

Poetic creation is the most prominent in Su Shi＇s literary works created during his three years in Hainan province. These poems are rich in content,which is the most beautiful artistic expression of both thoughts and feelings during his exile life. Poems of Learning Tao Yuanming reflects the process of self- mind adjusting after his arrival in Hainan. The poetic style weighs toward classical poems and the artistic styles can be roughly divided into plain,gorgeous as well as neutral state-- naturalness and unrestrainedness. Su Shi＇s status in Hainan literary history can be called the grandmaster.This kind of status and far- reaching influence are inseparable with his lofty position and profound impact on the whole process of the historical and cultural development in Hainan.
