Analysis on the Main Approaches for Peaceful Settlement of Maritime Disputes in Southeast Asia

东南亚海洋争端较多,地区国家在和平解决争端方面进行了多种尝试,并取得了一定成就。本文梳理出东南亚国家和平解决海洋争端的4个主要路径,并基于案例分析了各路径的主要特点与利弊,然后从解决涉华的南海争端出发,提出了若干对策思考。

There are so many maritime disputes in Southeast Asia, countries in the region have made great efforts to find the peaceful settlement of disputes, and received certain achievements. This paper reviews the four main approaches for peaceful settlement of maritime disputes in Southeast Asia, and analyzes the main characteristics of each approach based on case studies. Thus, provides several countermeasures and thinking from the perspective of solving the South China Sea disputes.
