Core Symptoms and Clinical Usage of Dachaihu Decoction

大柴胡汤源于《伤寒论》《金匮要略》,功效为和解少阳、通下阳明,主治少阳病未解,邪入阳明经化热之证。该文对大柴胡汤的方证特点、配伍规律及核心药对进行了精当阐释,并选录了笔者临证中使用大柴胡汤治疗三叉神经痛、胆汁反流性胃炎、急性胃炎、慢性前列腺炎、急性阑尾炎等5个病案的治验实录。在临床实践中,大柴胡汤不仅可用治多种急性胆道疾患或其他消化道疾病,凡是病机属于肝胆肠胃不和、气血凝结不利者,均可考虑使用,疗效卓著。

Daehaihu Decoction comes from ＂Treatise on Febrile Diseases＂ and ＂Synopsis of the Golden Chamber＂ . The effectiveness of the formula is harmonizing Shaoyang and clearing Yangming. The indication of the formula is Shaoyang disease unsolved with evil heat in Yangming. The aim of this article is focusing on the character of the symptoms of Dachaihu Decoction, compatibility regulation and the core of couple of herbs, and presenting selected clinical usage of Dachaihu Decoction in 5 medical records, such as trigeminal neuralgia, bile reflux gastritis, acute gastritis, chronic prostatitis and acute appendicitis. In this article we conclude that Dachaihu Decoction not only can cure a variety of acute biliary tract disease and other gastrointestinal diseases ,＇ but also have remarkable efficacy in those disease related to the imbalance of liver, gallbladder and stomach, and disadvantaged blood coagulation.
