“善言天者必有征于人”——荀子“天论”的哲学分疏

An Analysis on Xunzi's Notion “TIAN” in Philosophical Perspective

与传统"天人之分"的共识相反,荀子对"天"的探讨处处以关涉"人"为目的,并在此基础上展现出两个维度。其中,在现实层面荀子主要发明注重人事、为民祛魅的宗旨;在哲学层面发明人作为主体如何使"天"、"礼"进行内在统一,即实现"天"、"礼"、"人"的三位一体,并最终突出人之主观能动性的积极意义。

Opposite from the traditional consensus ＂non-connection between the Heaven and man＂, Xunzi＇s exploration of ＂Tian＂ concentrates on human as a purpose and displays on two dimensions in this foundation. In which , Xunzi expounds the people-oriented and evil-spirit-exorcised doctrine in the realistic level; contriving human being to make ＂Tian＂ and ＂Li＂ unified from the philosophical viewpoint, which means it has realized the triune of ＂Tian＂,＂Li＇.＂Ren＂ and highlighted the significance of the subjective ini- tiative of human being eventually.
