Constructing the New American University:Study on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Strategies in Arizona State University

在州政府公共财政削减和教育需求等推拉因素作用下,亚利桑那州立大学进行了以创建"新美国大学"为目标的一系列创新创业实践改革。在组织架构上,它对各校区功能进行再定位,并在学院层面实施强调配合的"学院中心式"变革;在具体的创新创业举措上,该校提供丰富的学习资源和学位项目,搭建各类平台和开拓资金渠道,连接大学与市场之间的技术转化通道。经研究分析发现,该校的创新创业具备发展目标定位明确、合作及改革全面系统、资源多样和体系完善的特点。

Driven by push-pull factors like the reduction of government tunding ana eaucation aemana, Arizona State University carried out a series of innovation and entrepreneurship measures, aiming at constructing New American University. For organizational structure, it re-defined the functions of every campus, carried out school-centric model reform at the school level;for the particular initiative,it offered rich learning resources, degrees and certificate programs,buih various platforms and broadened funding sources,and connected the technology transfer channel between the university and market. The analysis in this article draws to the traits of its innovation and entrepreneurship,which are clearly identified goals, comprehensive and systematic cooperation and collaboration, diversified resources and well-buih system.
