刑事司法的目的不仅仅是通过法定程序惩罚犯罪、保障人权,通过公正司法,切实回应人民群众的关切,促进公众对刑事司法的认同和服从,进而保障中国共产党执政的合法性,这才是刑事司法的根本目的。刑事司法目的的实现,要求做到目标坚定、主体适格、行为规范、过程公正、说理充分、沟通亲和。

The fundamental purpose of criminal justice is not merely to punish crimes and protect human rights through legal procedures, but to respond to the concerns of the people and promote public recognition and obedience of criminal justice by the way of enforcing laws impartially so as to guarantee the legitimacy of the ruling of the Communist Party of China. The realization of criminal justice＇s purpose requires firm objective, eligible subject, regular behavior, impartial procedure, sufficient reasoning and affinity communication.
