摘要
教师面子指的是教师对自身表现出来的形象所引发的他人评价的心理评判。面子在教师专业实践中意味着专业形象、专业权威、专业道德、地位、身份感、荣誉感、归属感及能力、利益等。面子工夫对于教师专业实践意义重大。恰当的面子工夫有利于提高教师的自尊和声誉,增进人际的和谐与合作。但是,过分的面子工夫却具有很大的虚伪性。因而通过提升教师专业能力、提高教师地位与影响力、改革教师评价方式来寻找化解教师面子危机之策甚为必要。
A teacher's face is his psychological evaluation of others' evaluation of his own image created by his performance. In the teachers' professional practice,face means such a lot of things as professional image, professional authority, professional ethics, status, sense of identity, honor, a sense of belonging and ability and interest. Face work is significant for teachers' professional practice. Right face work helps to improve teachers'self-esteem and reputation, enhance interpersonal harmony and cooperation. But excessive face work has great hypocrisy. It's necessary to look for tactics of resolving face crisis through enhancing teachers' professional competence, improving the status of teachers and influence, reforming of teacher evaluation methods.
