语块认知与同传流畅性——一项基于语块认知训练的实证研究 被引量:18

摘要 流畅性是同传口译质量评价的重要指标之一。本研究根据会议口译特点设计语块认知教学法,通过两轮语块认知训练考察其对同传流畅性的作用,每轮实验组和对照组各15位受试,跟踪研究16周,研究结果t检验在汉英同传的中断、空白、犹豫和修补4个指标上差异非常显著,在英汉同传的中断、犹豫、修补3个指标上差异非常显著。英汉和汉英同传的重复指标t检验变化均不显著。实验材料分析表明,重复处理是译员为了保持流畅性而采取的变通策略。同时,英汉同传空白指标t检验差异不显著,实验材料分析表明译员为实现流畅性采取省略同传策略。实证研究表明:语块认知训练对学生同传的流畅性有显著促进作用。 Fluency is considered to be a key factor in evaluating simul-interpreting performance.This study,based on features of conference interpreting,designed a chunk cognition pedagogy(CCP)and tested its usefulness.The test consists of two rounds of cognitive experiments.The experimental and control groups have 15 subjects in each experiment,30 in total.Each round lasted for16 weeks.T-test of the experiment results shows significant difference between the two groups in pauses,unfilled spaces,hesitations and repairs as 4indices for Chinese-English(C-E)simul-interpreting.While in English-Chinese(E-C)simul-interpreting,t-test results show significant difference only in 3indices:pauses,hesitations and repairs.No significant difference is found in the index of repetition either in C-E or E-C simul-interpreting,nor is unfilled space as an index for E-C performance evaluation.It is also found that repetition is often used for keeping fluency in simulinterpreting and also unfilled space as ellipsis strategy in E-C interpreting.CCP can significantly promote simul-interpreting learners' fluency.
