The Relationship between Cough Variant Asthma and Phlegm

咳嗽变异性哮喘的临床症状以咳嗽为主,与痰饮相关的胸闷、憋喘、咳痰的症状不明显。认为咳嗽变异性哮喘与痰饮有密切相关性,阐述了咳嗽变异性哮喘的病因病机以伏痰为夙根,诱使疾病反复发作,迁延不愈,治疗当去除肺内伏痰以治本,解决夙根。

The major symptom of cough variant asthma（CVA） is cough,with unobvious chest stuffiness and asthma,phlegm. The relationship between CVA and phlegm was discussed in this paper,and it was proposed that the cause of the CVA is the latent phlegm also known as Su Gen,which could cause the recurrence of CVA and prolonged disease course. Therefore the treatment should be eliminating the latent phlegm and romving the Su Gen.
