The Lotus Pattern in Modern Clothing Design

文章针对传统莲纹图案缺乏现代感、同现代服饰风格不和谐的问题,为了使莲纹变得更加时尚符合现代服装审美,采用图表分析的方法,对莲纹的内涵寓意和应用形式进行了梳理和分析,得到从色彩、结构和构图形式上对传统莲纹进行再设计的可行性,实现莲纹图案的创新和升华。

Traditional lotus patterns are regarded as being short of the sense of modernity and incompatible with the looks of modem garment. In order to make lotus patterns more fashionable and cater to the aesthetic taste of consumers, based on summing up and analyzing the connotations and the uses of lotus patterns, the paper probes into the feasibility of redesigning traditional lotus patterns in terms of color, structure and composition, and turning them into innovative and modified patterns.
