摘要
贾科梅蒂是现代主义的先锋人物,但他对"埃及风格"的运用很少有人知道。贾科梅蒂对埃及艺术的喜爱并非是浅薄的对风格化的模仿,而是对埃及人观看方式的研究。埃及艺术家认为:自然是人的栖身之地而并非是供人研究之物,因此人不能以自居主体的优越地位去审视,只有这样才能对自然有完整的认知。贾科梅蒂强调要力图摆脱自希腊以来艺术带给人的心理干扰,回到埃及人眼里的真实,但他并没有直接把埃及的绘象体系搬来套用,而是试图去追寻埃及人观看的方式,以求能够从视觉的本源出发捕捉对象的本质。
Giacometti is always known as the pioneer of modernism. However, few people is familiar with his using of "Egyptian style". He as an Egyptian art fan, is not superficially doing the imitation of it because what truly interests him is the way how Egyptians observe the nature. To Egyptian artists, nature is somewhere to live in, but not something to do research. And they thought it was not acceptable for people to examine nature in a superior position if they want to have an integrated view of it. Giacometti says that since Greece times, art has been functioned as a sort of mental interference to people; it needs to be stopped and go back to reality. Instead of simply copying the Egyptian painting system, he tries to find out how exactly Egyptians observe things, in order to grasp the essence of the objects based on the very origin of vision.
