According to hindered settling principles, the paper studies the efficiency of variable speed precipitation controlling water turbidity and micro-particle, and analyzes the operation mechanism of variable speed precipitation. The experimental results show that ： variable speed precipi-tation can effectively reduce water turbidity and control micro-particle amount, which has wide engineering application prospect.
