摘要
本文旨在研究Swain的"语言输出假设"是否能够作用于词汇习得的广度与深度。本次研究采用了两种实验方式,第一种以两个平行班的学生为实验对象,将其分为对照组与实验组,分别采取传统词汇教学模式与结合输出理论的教学模式对学生进行英语词汇教学,以帮助学生掌握合适的学习方法,提高英语学习能力。第二种以笔者所在研究组的成员们为实验对象,自行学习词汇并进行自测,旨在培养词汇习得时对词汇运用的能力。实验表明,将Swain的"语言输出假设"应用于教学在一定程度上能扩大学生英语词汇习得的广度,提升词汇习得的深度,并帮助学生更好地掌握英语词汇。
This paper aims to study whether Swain's Output Hypothesis has an effect on the breadth and depth of vocabulary acquisition. We used two experiment modes in this study. In the first mode, two parallel classes, divided into the control group and the experimental group, were selected as the experimental subjects, and the traditional model of English vocabulary teaching and the integrated teaching with output theory were respectively carried out for the two groups, in order to help the students grasp proper learning methods and improve their English learning ability. In the second mode, the members of this research group were designated as the experimental subjects, and the subjects learned vocabulary and tested their performance by themselves, aiming to train the ability to apply vocabulary in vocabulary acquisition. The experiment shows that the application of Swain's Output Hypothesis to teaching, to a certain extent, can expand the breath of students' English vocabulary acquisition and improve the depth of their vocabulary acquisition, and also help students better grasp English vocabulary.
