Reform and Prospect of Postgraduate Degree Education on MSW in China

面对资源分配不均、自身能力不足、问题根本在体制三大基本现实,中国社会工作专业学位研究生教育有必要在拓展社会工作内涵、注重基本社会工作服务、有质量回应政府之所需等原则下进行改革,具体建议有:课程设置上增加MBA课程;生源构成上以在职人员为主;实习安排考虑就近、节约、领域扩展原则;降低社会工作硕士毕业论文的预期;充分考虑学生就业,最终将社会工作硕士培养为社会领域的MBA。

Faced with the three basic realities about the uneven distribution of resources,lack of capacity for the development of Social work and the fundamental problems from systems in China,the education of MSW should be reformed in the principles of expanding the SW s connotation,paying more attention to the basic services of SW and responding the government needs with high quality.Specific recommendations are as follows:increasing the MBA courses on curriculum;the on-job postgraduates predominantly;internship arrangements considering the nearest distance,the most conservation and areas of expansion;reducing expectations of MSW;the likely reactions of student employment.Therefore,the ultimate final purpose of educational reform is training MSW as MBA in the social fields.
