摘要
本文从初中英语阅读教学的要求和阅读教学存在的问题之间的矛盾出发,分析问题的根源,提出主题阅读教学方法。然后,以一个单元的主题阅读教学设计为例,说明主题阅读设计和实施的几个环节:基于教材话题确定主题,围绕主题筛选符合学生认知水平的阅读材料,设计帮助学生深入理解阅读文本的活动。最后,本文通过阅读效果评价说明主题阅读对学生阅读兴趣和阅读能力的促进作用。
From the viewpoint of confl icts between the requirements of Junior English reading standards and the problems in the present teaching of reading, this paper analyzes the causes of these problems, and proposes the method of the 'theme-based reading'. Then, taking a unit teaching design as an example, this article illustrates the links of preparing a unit theme reading design, including deciding the theme based on the textbook, selecting reading materials based on the theme in accordance with students' cognition level, planning activities which can promote students' deep understanding of the reading materials. Finally, this paper examines the promoting effect of theme-based reading on students' interest and abilities in English reading through reading effect assessment.
