汉英翻译中的“理清”与“忽略”策略

A New View on Chinese-English Translation

汉英两种语言差异大,汉英翻译其实就是对诸种差异的转化。这一转化过程涉及多种翻译策略,其中有三点没有引起足够重视,包括词性、句序、华丽辞藻。这三个方面的转化可以概括为三大"理清"和三大"忽略":一是理清句意,忽略词性;二是理清逻辑关系,忽略语言单位的顺序;三是理清语句基本内涵,忽略华丽辞藻。

There are various differences between Chinese and English, which are transferred in Chinese- English translation. The translation involves many strategies which are not fully realized. They are classes of words, order of words and rhetoric. These strategies can also be concluded as three ＂make clear＂ and three ＂ignores＂ ： make clear the meaning of sentences and ignore the classes of words ; make clear logical relations and ignore the orders of language units ; make lear the conno- tation of sentences and ignore rhetoric.
