薮内清与中国:日本科学史家的另一面

Yabuuti kyoshi and China:The Less Explored Side of Japanese Historians of Science

文章主要论述了薮内清学术生涯中数个与中国有关的事例,即薮内清两次赴华实地考察游历的经过以及其学术工作的基本保障、国际学术影响力的扩大与中国的微妙联系。分析了薮内清在战后逐渐重新成型的新"中国观",试图将薮内清与中国间鲜为人知的另一侧面作一展示。通过对薮内清与中国的互动进行分析,得出如下结论:薮内清的对华观点受到时局变化的较大影响;中国国力的增长对薮内清的学术研究有很大帮助;二者在战后走上了良性互动的轨道。

This paper mainly discussed two events associated with China in Yabuuchi kyoshi＇s academic career, namely his two visits to China, and the influence of his research work and his subtle connections with China. Meanwhile, it analyzed Yabuuchi kyoshi＇ s ＂new Chinese perspective＂, trying to uncover his less explored side. It is concluded that Yabuuchi kyoshi＇s attitude toward China is impacted by the changing political situation. The rise of China is of great benefit to his academic research. After the Second World War, there appeared a virtuous interaction between the two.
