摘要
丝绸之路开辟后,佛教文化进入中土最早,传播最为活跃。浴佛节传入中土,并在中原地区汉化寺院举办浴佛活动的时间是汉灵帝时期。浴佛节这一天除浴佛、行像外,还有斋会、结缘、放生等活动。浴佛节的饮食丰富多彩,具有时代性、社会性的特征。
After the Silk Road was opened, the earliest Buddhist culture came into China with the most active dissemination. Buddha Bathing Festival spread to China. Buddha bathing activities were held in the sinicized temples in central China during the period of Emperor Ling of Han. Except bath- ing and exhibiting the Buddha statues around a place, there were such activities as fasting, becoming a believer in Buddhism, and releasing live animals. The diet of Buddha Bathing Festival was rich and col- orful with the characteristics of epochal and social qualities.
