我国上市商业银行治理对绩效影响的实证研究——基于16家上市商业银行2000-2014年的面板数据

Empirical Study of the Impact of Corporate Governance on the Performance of Listed Commercial Banks in China Based on 2000-2014 Panel Data of 16 Listed Commercial Banks

我国上市商业银行是按照现代企业制度的要求建立起来的,对其公司治理方面的研究对于我国其他类型银行有一定的借鉴意义。通过在已有研究的基础上,研究了中国上市商业银行的公司治理绩效。研究结论为:高度集中的股权不利于商业银行的发展,董事会、监事会等内部治理机制并没有发挥出理想中的作用。同时发现,与其它上市企业公司治理的研究结果不大相同,第一大股东为国有的商业银行比非国有的经营绩效高。另外,股权分置改革后,商业银行的经营绩效发生了显著变化。

As the listed commercial banks in China are built according to the modern corporate system, the study of the corporate governance of the banks will provide references for other types of banks in China. On the basis of existing researches, the performance of corporate governance of listed commercial banks is investigated. It is discovered that high-concentrated stock rights go against the growth of the banks and the internal mechanisms for the governance, such as board of directors or board of supervisors do not play the expected role. At the same time, it is found that different from research results of other listed companies, commercial banks of which the first majority stockholder is the state perform better than non-state-owned banks. Apart from that, after the reform of the shareholder structure, the business performance of commercial banks has changed a lot.
