商务英语是国际贸易中的通用官方语言，虚拟语气作为一种重要的修辞手段应用于商务英语交流中，能有效地创造和谐融洽的气氛，促进商务活动的顺利进行。本文以国际贸易发展为背景，介绍了虚拟语气的定义与用法，结合商务英语的特点，阐述了商务英语中虚拟语气的翻译原则及应用，探究虚拟语气应用之现实意义。

Business English is the common official language in international trade, the subjunctivemood as an important rhetorical devices used in English business communication, can effectively cre-ate harmonious atmosphere and promote business activities smoothly. Taking the development of inter-national trade as the background, this paper introduces the definition and the usage of the subjunc-tive mood and describes its translation principles and applications in English business, combined withthe characteristics of Business English. This paper is to explore the practical significance of applica-tion of subjunctive mood.
