摘要
利用隐喻识解与"时间"有关的英语习语是可行、必要的。与"时间"有关的英语习语可以从结构隐喻、方位隐喻和实体隐喻三个方面识解。翻译该类习语可以采用归化策略和异化策略。
It is feasible and necessary that English idioms related to time can be understood by using metaphor construal. English idioms related to time can be construed in three aspects： structural meta-phors, orientational metaphors, and ontological metaphors. The translation strategies of domestication and foreignization can be used to translate these kinds of idioms.
