体裁教学法在大学英语写作课堂的运用实例（英文）

Application of a Genre-based Approach in a College English Writing Class

近年来,体裁教学法在中国英语教学中逐渐得到应用,较多地体现在学术英语和专门用途英语的教学中。本文则探讨在大学英语的通用英语写作教学中如何运用体裁教学法。本文首先从理论上回顾体裁与体裁教学法的概念与基本原则、教学模式、潜在的问题及对策,以及体裁教学法与成果教学法、过程教学法相比的优势;随后根据澳大利亚体裁教学模式,以说明文体裁中的对比说明文为例,具体分析说明如何在课堂写作教学中运用体裁教学法。

The genre-based approach of teaching has been increasingly used in English teaching in China, especially in the teaching of academic English and English for specific purposes. This paper, however, explains how the genre-based approach can be used in College English Writing for general purposes. It first reviews the theories of genre and the genre-based approach--the concept and principles, the instructional framework, possible problems and solutions, and the strengths compared with the product approach and the process approach. Then following the Australian model, a lesson plan is designed to teach the expository genre of comparison and contrast, and with this as an example, this paper explains in detail how to apply the genre-based approach in the college English writing class.
