延续性口腔健康教育对老年牙周病患者治疗效果的影响 被引量:26

Influence of continued oral health education on treatment effect of elderly patients with periodontal disease

摘要 目的探讨延续性口腔健康教育对老年牙周病患者治疗效果的影响。方法2014年1月-2015年2月从口腔科就诊患者中选取62例60—74岁的牙周病老年患者,随机分为研究组和对照组,各31例。对照组按照常规进行诊间口腔卫生宣教,研究组进行家庭延续性口腔健康教育,比较两组患者治疗后第1,3,6个月的菌斑指数和牙龈指数。结果研究组与对照组初诊和治疗后1个月时的菌斑指数和牙龈指数差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05);治疗后3个月、6个月,研究组菌斑指数、牙龈指数均小于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05)。研究组治疗后1,3,6个月的菌斑指数和牙龈指数较恒定,均明显低于治疗前,差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05);对照组治疗后1个月的菌斑指数和牙龈指数低于治疗前,差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05)。但在治疗后第3,6个月指数逐渐增长至治疗前水平。结论积极、有效的延续性口腔健康教育有助于牙周病治疗效果的长期维护,减轻牙龈炎症,可明显改善患者的牙周状况。 Objective To explore the influence of continued oral health education on treatment effect of elderly patients with periodontal disease.Methods Totals of 62 elderly patients with age from 60 to 74 years old and with periodontal disease treated in Department of Stomatology from January 2014 to February 2015 were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group, each with 31 cases. Patients in the control group were given routine oral hygiene education, while patients in the experimental group were given continued oral health education at home. After 1, 3 and 6 months of treatment, plaque index and gingival indexof patients in the two groups were compared.Results For both groups, plaque index and gingival index at first visit and 1 month after treatment showed no significant difference (P〉0.05) ; 3 and 6 months after the treatment, plaque index and gingival index of patients in the experimental group were fewer than those in the control group (P〈0.05). 1, 3 and 6 months after the treatment, plaque index and gingival index of patients in the experimental group were relatively stable, yet lower than before the treatment (P〈0.05) ; 1 month after treatment, plaque index and gingival index of patients in the control group were lower than before the treatment (P〈0.05), yet 3 and 6 months after the treatment, the number grew gradually to the level before the treatment.Conclusions Positive and effective continued oral health education can help to maintain long-term curative effect of periodontal disease, alleviate gingiva inflammation and thus improve obviously periodontal condition of the patients.
