The Construction of Chinese Cultural Soft Power Based on Modern Neo-Confucianism

在当今世界,中国的经济实力和综合国力日益增强,但文化软实力有待进一步提高,而文化软实力的提高必须依靠中国传统优秀文化,现代新儒学能够与时俱进,克服历史局限,是中国传统优秀文化现代化的典范。它的发展如果坚持走中国特色社会主义道路,以马克思主义的世界观、方法论为指导,以服务于中国特色的社会主义实践为己任,以兼容并包、融合创新为途径不断吐故纳新、涵养自身,就能够提升中国文化软实力在世界上的影响力。

Currently,although Chinese economic power and comprehensive national power increasingly strengthen,cultural soft power remains further improvement which must depend on Chinese traditional splendid culture. Modern neo-confucianism which can advance with the times and surmount historical limitation is a nonesuch regarding modernization of Chinese traditional splendid culture. If the development of neo-confucianism persists to the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the guidance of Marxist world outlook and methodology,the responsibility of serving the practice constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics,the way of selective absorption and integrated innovation to abandon outdated opinions and assimilate new ideas in order to enhance itself,the influence of Chinese cultural soft power in the world will be promoted.
