Biostatistics, the applications of mathematical statistics in life sciences, is one of the most important courses for undergraduates majoring in life sciences. The contents of Biostatistics are highly log- ical and abstractive. The graphic teaching strategy, therefore, can systematically illustrate each chapter of Biostatistics, making students＂ learning more effective and enabling them to better understand and master the knowledge. In the paper, we expounded the concept of graphic teaching method, and point out the role of graphic teaching in introducing course theme, summarizing a chapter, case study and related knowledge connection. Graphic teaching makes learning pathway clear, and knowledge points clear and relevant. Some thoughts on graphic teaching strategy and some questions worthy of notice in teaching arc also forward in this parer.
