On Criticizing Historical Nihilism: An Important Task of Deepening Mao Zedong Studies

当前毛泽东研究领域中历史虚无主义思潮泛起的关键原因在于毛泽东影响的持续性"在场"。历史虚无主义思潮从经验事实到思想基础两个维度对毛泽东进行了否定处理,其中基于感性经验与具体史料层面所展开的情感宣泄、道德谩骂是最为直接的方式,而从所谓理论基础上贬低、矮化毛泽东及其思想的理论地位又形成一条隐性路径。科学有力地回应历史虚无主义思潮对毛泽东研究学术化路径的冲击,需要实现从理论原则到思想方法的双重推进,既需要真正切实有效地坚持历史唯物主义的基本原则,进而从理论基础维度解构毛泽东研究中历史虚无主义思潮,也需要以巨大的政治勇气与科学的态度直面历史虚无主义的攻击,以重建毛泽东(晚年)研究的科学理论规范。

The key reason of historical nihilism appearing in Mao Zedong studies is the continuous influence of Mao Zedong. Empirical facts and theoretical foundations constitute the double aspects of denying Mao Zedong by historical nihilism. On the one hand,the emotional draining and moral abusing,which based on the empirical facts and specific historical materials,are the direct ways of denying Mao Zedong. On the other hand,belittling Mao Zedong and his thoughts,based on the so called theoretical foundations,is the recessive way of denying. Replying historical nihilism scientifically needs a double boosting from theoretical principle to mental method. We should not only insist the basic principle of Historical Materialism to deconstruct historical nihilism in Mao Zedong studies,but also face historical nihilism＇s attacking with great political courage in order to reconstruct the scientific theory standard in（ late） Mao Zedong studies.
