On the Use of Musical Instruments in Li He's Poems and Their Influence on Poetic Context

The use of musical instruments in Li He＇s poems is complex. The instruments can be classified into five types in terms of their raw materials： silk, gold, bamboo, lagenaria and leather. The flexible application of these musical instruments integrating with different parts of speech, direct and indirect artistic methods, and with the aid of romantic tone, reveal varied emotions and tones such as sadness, joy, satire. These elements help create a soothing and fabulously cold atmosphere, giving people astonishing artistic air of melancholy.
