摘要
随着中国英语教学改革的深入,如何使大一新生更好地适应大学英语的学习变得越来越重要。用质性研究深度访谈的方法对33名南方科技大学非英语专业大一新生英语学习转型经历的考察证明,他们的英语学习转型经历比现有文献描述的更为积极:对这类学生而言,从高中到大学的过渡虽然有许多困难要克服,但是也从这段经历中提高了自己英语学习的自主性和独立性。从学生的角度出发对其英语学习转型经历进行阶段性概括,有助于高校教师指导非英语专业大学生的英语学习。
An interview was adopted among 33 college freshman students to observe their changes in their first year of English learning in college. The findings reveal positive changes among the subjects: although there were some challenges in their adapting to college English learning, their learner autonomy and independence had been obviously improved. The present study contributes to the understanding and guiding of first year non-English college students in English learning.
